Should I pay my EOB?
Most EOBs are not payment coupons to the insurer. Wait for (or compare to) a provider bill, unless your plan’s document clearly instructs otherwise.
Safe habit
If it says “this is not a bill,” treat it as information. If it is a provider invoice with amount due, treat it as a bill.
